Engeela Sharifi
Engeela Sharifi is Director of the Afghan Women Social Service Organization (AWSSO), which offers microcredit loans to women who know how to run a business but need money to start. To date the organization has offered loans to about 1500 women. Since most are illiterate, AMSSO also provides literacy classes to build their competence.
